For centuries dogs ate raw food that was loaded with enzymes and they had few digestive issues. Today, we are feeding our dogs cooked food that comes in cans and kibble form. When food is cooked, the high heat kills most enzymes. Not only is this creating digestive issues but it's also putting undue pressure on the pancreas to manufacture more enzymes.
